Volunteers Needed for the 2015 Western Amateur at Rich Harvest Farms
Rich Harvest Farms is looking for volunteers for the Western Golf Association's 2015 Western Amateur, August 3-8! The Sugar Grove course will play host to the top 156 amateur golfers from around the world. Possible volunteer duties include live scoring, hole spotting, marshalling, and hospitality. The field will be put to the test by one of the most grueling formats in amateur golf. Past champions include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ben Crenshaw, and Jack Nicklaus. General admission to the event is FREE and will also include FREE parking on site.
The Western Golf Association is also looking to provide the players with private housing during their stay. Residents of Sugar Grove and the surrounding communities can also volunteer to host a player at their home.

Available Positions:
Pace of Play Timers and Live Scoring: Volunteers will be positioned on the golf course every three holes to assure the players are keeping up with pace of play and also send updates on players' score.
Shuttle Driver: Shuttle drivers will transport players from the green to the tee on select holes and/or transport spectators and volunteers around the golf course.
Hole Spotter: Hole spotters will be positioned on the golf course to locate golf balls hit by players off the tee. Quickly locating golf balls assists with pace of play.
Hospitality: Positions will include parking, building security, player assistance and check-in duties.
Scorecard runners: Volunteers will bring scorecards from the 9th and 18th greens to the scoring area.
Marshal: Volunteers will assist with crowd and noise control. The position requires the ability to walk 18 holes with the groups.
