Schaumburg Park District Golf Courses To Open March 23

Schaumburg Golf Club and Walnut Greens Golf Course, both owned and operated by the Schaumburg Park District, will open for the season March 23.

"It's great to kick off another season," said Pepi Irwin, director of golf at SGC. "Schaumburg Golf Club and Walnut Greens Golf Course offer a wide range of options for the beginning golfer, the experienced pro and everybody in between."

Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole championship course featuring United States Golf Association tees, practice greens, a driving range, teaching area, clubhouse, full-service pro shop, restaurant and more. Walnut Greens is a nine-hole, par-3 course with a pro shop that offers a variety of leagues and lessons in addition to discounted rates for families and residents.
