Mix Something Good with Arrowhead Golf Club's Mixology Classes
Wheaton, Ill.-Mixing a good drink is not only a neat party trick, it's an art unto itself, requiring precision, presentation, and practice. Hone these valuable skills and learn how to create four different drinks at Arrowhead Golf Club's Mixology class, Thursday, January 28, 7-8:30 p.m.
Running on a monthly basis January through May, Mixology is taught by Nick Panno, a six-year veteran bartender of Arrowhead Restaurant and Bar.
"We're excited to get the classes back in action," said Panno. "We had a lot of fun with the guests, and they had fun learning tricks of the trade."
Each month showcases a different theme, starting with "Tequila: From Margaritas to the Worm" for January and continuing with "Martinis: Fun and Easy Party-tini Ideas" on February 25 and "Mojitos: Great Ideas for Your Summer Party" on March 24.
April and May's themes have not been announced yet, but one may include whiskey, according to Brian Whitkanack, Director of Restaurant and Banquet Operations.
"People have a ton of fun at these classes," Whitkanack said. "You learn a little bit, drink and eat a little bit, and meet some new people!"
